Thanksgiving Baking: An Extra Sweet Post

I know, I know … it’s not Thursday yet. And I have a great story to share with you on Thursday, but before then I wanted to share a couple of my favorite Thanksgiving recipes. I thought I’d share them early, just in case you want to add them to your baking list for later this week.

I recently shared in Soap Opera Digest that my favorite is Sweet Potato Casserole, which I’ve shared with you before … and I’m also sharing a newer favorite, Pumpkin Ginger Cake. Delicious!

I’m going old-school on the sweet potatoes this year too! I may accidentally spill some Tuaca in mine, though…oops! That cake looks tasty. I love pumpkin and always have a couple of cans in my pantry…

  4. Susan Nolen (Suzzy1969)

  5. Thanks for sharing! My daughter-in-law usually makes our sweet potato casserole which is so good, but I showed her this and she is going to make it.

  7. My daughter-in-law always makes our sweet potato casserole on Thanksgiving and it is delicious but I am going to show her this. It’s nice to try something different. The cake sounds amazing also.

  8. Thank you!!❤️❤️

  9. Thank you for sharing these recipes! Will have to try the cake. sounds so good! Always looking to add something new to the mix. The sweet potato casserole is one of my favorites too! My recipe is almost exactly the same, except mine calls for pineapple juice instead of whipping cream. Hmmm..may have to try it with the whipping cream instead. I love putting a new spin on an old recipe.
Thanks again for the recipes and have a very Happy Thanksgiving!!

  10. Alison Kong

That pumpkin ginger cake recipe looks interesting!
I know the recipe calls for molasses but what can be used if one doesn’t have molasses?
